Elise qualified with a Bachelor of ECE through Victoria University and began her teaching career in 2018. Since then, Elise has taught in a variety of settings working alongside Infants, Toddlers and Young Tāmariki.
Elise joined KEL in 2020. She believes that each kaiako brings something special to KEL and as a result, the Centre has a very ‘tight-knit community feel’ creating a very comfortable and inspiring space for tamariki to learn and grow.
Elise is now working towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Inclusive Education to assist her passion for working alongside whānau from different cultures, ethnicities and supporting tāmariki with various learning difficulties or disabilities.
